Matthew 6:19; “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal."
2 Corinthians 4:18; as we look not to the things that are seen
but to the things that are unseen.
For the things that are seen are transient,
but the things that are unseen are eternal.
Why are the unseen more important? Because God, and Jesus (who created this universe), and the Angels are invisible. Our human spirit and the Holy Spirit are invisible. God will give us far, far more (while we live in a human form) than the human realities we see around us. We think money/jobs/etc are the source. God will provide supernaturally for us, as long as we depend upon Him as our source. (See 'FAITH')
Ephesians 6:12; For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,
but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual
Our "struggle" is against the "rulers" which are Satan controlled.
Satan is the ruler of Planet Earth.

The Son is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn over all creation.
16 For in him all things were created:
things in heaven and on earth,
visible and invisible,
whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities;
all things have been created through him and for him.
17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Since God and His Son, Jesus are in the Spirit and are invisible to us who are looking through the eyes of a human body, why wouldn't the 'real universe' that we are forever moving toward, be invisible to us also?

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth,
for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away,
and the sea was no more.
And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem,
coming down out of heaven from God,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
“Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man.
He will dwell with them, and they will be his people,
and God himself will be with them as their God.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,
and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning,
nor crying, nor pain anymore,
for the former things have passed away.”
And he who was seated on the throne said,
“Behold, I am making all things new.”
Also he said, “Write this down,
for these words are trustworthy and true.” ...
Paul wrote that he was “caught up to the third heaven” (2 Corinthians 12:2).
In the next verse he calls that same place “paradise”.
That is where God's place of residence is.
The 2nd heaven is thought of as Satan's domain.
The "first heaven" is the heaven we look up and see today.
God who created the heavens in Genesis 1 will be destroying the 2nd and 1st heavens "for the former things have passed away." and giving us what we have been waiting for.

THE BODY

Taking care of the body consumes most of our life, as we maneuver the body to help it survive by keeping it just the right temperature, undamaged, intact, and protected from harm. Plus making money to drive it around, feed, clothe and house it. And then there is differentiating its emotions and feelings from ours. Not to mention having to put it to bed 1/3rd of its life.

So, body/s and keeping it/them healthy and alive becomes very important to us and there is a lot of attention on bodies; how they look and don't look, feel, etc. Although bodies can be great, the reality is that which is 'seen' has the least importance, because it is going away and will not be here at all. The body, every day it lives, is gradually decaying to its eventual ground destination, and the material universe around us that we see and place so much importance upon, crumbles the same way.

That is why it is vital to concentrate our efforts on that which is 'not seen'.
What is here on this page is great and if you apply these Bible verses, there is no reason that your life should not change for the better.
