I believe in miracles and that miracles are given to us often by God through Jesus using His Holy Spirit which can indwell us if we choose.  SEE HOLY SPIRIT.  I have had so many miracles happen to me that I could tell you about.  Instead, I am going to write a separate book about those which have happened to me and others.  They are really amazing and when you have finished the book on Miracles, I am sure you will have little doubt how similar miracles can happen to you.

There are some who believe that miracles died with the apostles.  This is simply not true.

Apostle Paul is talking to the Galatians telling them again the differences between the Laws of Moses and its replacement the time of Grace (which we have today).  Paul is talking about God (through Jesus) giving them His Spirit (Holy Spirit) to work miracles.

It is that same Holy Spirit we can have today and if we believe, will create miracles for us today.

Hebrews 2:3-4 AMP; how will we escape [the penalty] if we ignore such a great salvation [the gospel, the new covenant]? For it was spoken at first by the Lord, and it was confirmed to us and proved authentic by those who personally heard [Him speak], 4 [and besides this evidence] God also testifying with them [confirming the message of salvation], both by signs and wonders and by various miracles [carried out by Jesus and the apostles] and by [granting to believers the] gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.

Apostle Paul is speaking in a letter to the Hebrews telling them once again about the new covenant (after the death of Jesus) the time of Grace.  And that God confirmed the new covenant of Grace by "signs and wonders" and "various miracles" and by granting to believers (us) the gifts of the Holy Spirit (through Jesus).

It is the gifts of the Holy Spirit that each person can acquire, that will make miracles happen today provided we believe. See HOLY SPIRIT.

Psalm 37:4;  “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”

I am now delighting in the Lord and He is giving me the desires of my heart.  It is truly amazing!  I am only sorry I missed out on His miracles for most of my life before I discovered God 8 years ago.

Luke 18:27; Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

"All things are possible for one who believes".  The secret for me was not to doubt, despite negatives from anywhere and everywhere.  When I do that and when I follow the direction from God's Holy Spirit, (through Jesus) life is like a well-oiled wheel.

Why 'through Jesus?  In Mathew 28:18; "And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me."  This means that when God along with Jesus (in the beginning - in Genesis) created planet Earth that at one point God gave Him (Jesus) all authority. See BEGINNING OF MANKIND.​

This goes along with: John 14:4; Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." See WHO ARE WE REALLY.

Ephesians 3:20;  Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,

Really!!! “superabundantly beyond all the things we ask or conceive”  Really!!!   So, I thought I would give it a try and have absolute faith, (in the past I had absolute faith and even taught that, but just for 'human wisdom' things).  But this time I was going to try it with absolute faith in God.  Well, I have to tell you it is miraculous!  See FAITH & BELIEF.

Mark 9:23;  And Jesus said to him, ‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”

As I experience the Bible and God's miracles, making the impossible possible, and as I lean on Him more and more, my life becomes entrenched in His path for me and His Bible is the tool He uses to instruct me.  My life is glorious compared to the humdrum businesses (though prosperous) I had before.

Hebrews 11:1

Faith is the assured expectation

 

of what is hoped for, 

​

the evident demonstration

​

of realities that are not seen.

Ephesians 2:6-8; And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

Let us break down Hebrews 11:1:
* “Faith is the assured expectation” = we expect, then it will happen.
* “of what is hoped for” = what we really want.
* “the evident demonstration of realities that are not seen” = a demonstration of what will become real even though we cannot see it.

As you can see from above, we have to believe ("assured expectation") in unseen things occurring, without an actual demonstration ("evident demonstration"). See the 'Faith'  Chapter of 'God, Us, and Satan', for another 20+ verses similar to these verses. 

God has raised up those who believe in Jesus and has seated us (in our spiritual state) with Jesus, so we might experience in the coming ages the mighty riches of His (God's) Grace and Kindness.

SUMMARY: MIRACLES TODAY:
I personally see miracles all day long in myself and others who believe.  They are everywhere to be seen if we allow ourselves to look

I think it is real shame if someone does not believe in miracles or believes that miracles died with the apostles, because if they do not believe, it won't happen anyway.  They are being robbed of some wonderful experiences.

 

I love this verse and I thought I would leave you with it. It says that we are "God's chosen treasure":
 

1 Peter 2:9-10; (The Passion Translation) But you are God’s chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world. For at one time you were not God’s people, but now you are. At one time you knew nothing of God’s mercy because you hadn’t received it yet, but now you are drenched with it!

 

God calls us  "priests who are kings", He has chosen us, and we have chosen Him.  In other words, we can all be like "priests" and spread His word as we are able, and together we will be "a spiritual nation" set apart as His "devoted ones" and we will be kings in His eyes.  I ask myself 'Why wouldn't God give the gifts of miracles to His kings?'

 

Wonderful reference! God brought this message to me in unusual ways – twice! – and I know He meant for me to see it.  I feel very blessed.

What is here on this page is great and if you apply these Bible verses, there is no reason that your life should not change for the better.

Galatians 3:5; So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?

If miracles died with the Apostles, then it would mean the rest of the Bible died then too.  If we believe the Bible, it is impossible to exclude some parts of it.  The whole Bible either all lives or doesn't.
