AUTHORITY TO ADAM AND EVE_edited.png

Surprisingly enough, we have a lot more authority than most of us suspected when man received the authority to run planet Earth.  See Genesis 1:26-28 below:

Genesis 1:26; Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Genesis 1:27; So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.

Genesis 1:28; God blessed them and said to them,

“Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

Genesis 1:29-30; Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

God gave His Dominion

(authority, rulership, and control)

of the Earth over to Adam and Eve.

(See verses for specifics) in  Genesis 1:27-30

Adam and Eve and the rest of mankind, over time, have given it bit by bit to Satan.

Unfortunately, Satan currently rules this planet.  He got his rulership from mankind (through murder, deceit and lies) starting with Adam, Eve, and then the rest of human kind. (See 'SATAN, WHO HE IS').

We are still superior to Satan because we have our Authority given to us at the time of Adam and Eve and throughout the Bible.

In addition, now we have, through Jesus, the Holy Spirit, which helps our human spirit. (See 'HUMAN SPIRIT' and 'HOLY SPIRIT').

We can see that God gave instructions to both Adam and Eve to rule this planet and also, gave them all the food they would need for themselves and the creatures and animals. (See 'THE BEGINNING OF MANKIND').

GOD LIMITED HIS SOVEREIGNTY WHEN HE GAVE RULERSHIP TO MANKIND.

God limited His sovereignty. (authority, rulership, and control).  When He gave the rulership of Earth to Adam, Eve, and mankind.

What do we do with the power of the Holy Spirit, which God has given us?

In Mark 16:17-18; Jesus specifically says:

  1. "they will drive out demons;

  2. speak in new tongues;

  3. they will pick up snakes with their hands;

  4. and when they drink deadly poison it will not hurt them;

  5. they will place their hands on sick people and they will get well."

Matthew 10:8; Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.

GOD DOES NOT LIE OR CHANGE HIS MIND

James 1:17;  Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Titus 1:2; in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time

1 Samuel 15:29; He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie or change His mind; for He is not a human being, that He should change His mind.”

Psalms 89:34; “I will not violate My covenant, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips."

Hebrews 6:17; Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of His purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath.

When we hear the Word of God, which He took the time and trouble to reveal to us through the Bible, which He wrote using people which He chose, we can trust it because His word is His covenant (formal, solemn, binding agreement). Every word of it.  In addition to that we have the Dead Sea Scrolls which proves the Bible true.

He does not change or alter His mind because that would be a lie, and the Bible tells us that God does not lie. (See Bible verses).

God doesn’t change or lie.   He never has and never will.  Every promise he makes He is bound to.  If God doesn’t keep His promises, that makes Him a liar.

God has bound Himself and he has revealed those bounds to us through His Word in His Book, the Bible.  We are the heirs (We inherit His promises just like any heir of fortunes), and His promises are sacred and unchangeable.

We can know with certainty what God's Will is, and we do not have to wish, and hope, because we have His Word in the Bible.

God's nature is unchanging.  It has to be, because He is supporting this universe.  He cannot change; otherwise, not only everything we see, but we ourselves would be in a state of unpredictable change.

(See also 'UNDERSTANDING GOD')

God does not lie or change His mind.  That means everything He says is perpetual and everlasting.

GOD HAS NEVER FAILED

Joshua 21:45; Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.

1 Kings 8:56; Praise be to the Lord, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses.

Romans 1:2; the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures,

God has never failed!  Not even one word!

Do we realize how fantastic that is.  There is not one human except Jesus who has kept all of their promises.

His Word. in addition to other things, is proved true through His prophesies which told us what was going to happen hundreds of years earlier than the event.  (See 'BIBLE TRUE? PROOF').

1 John 5:14-15; This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His Will,

He hears us.

15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have what we asked of Him.

GOD HEARS US.  HE GIVES US WHAT WE ASK.

That's a lot of confidence; "He hears us" and "if we ask anything according to His Will", "that we will have what we asked of Him".

This is His Word, which means it is His Covenant as it is stated in Psalms 89:34 (above).

When you pray the word of God you have prayed the Will of God and you can know beyond any shadow of a doubt that you have received it.

The scripture says when you pray, believe that you received it (past tense) and you shall have it. It doesn't say you will receive it. It doesn't say you might have it, it says "it will be yours".

But is dependent upon you believing that you "believe that you have received it" because God will  not override your determination and intentions.

GOD  CANNOT HELP US

There are certain things that God controls

but God gave us the power to heal ourselves and we need to use it.

God has imposed boundaries upon Himself when it comes to planet Earth. God gave His dominion  (authority, rulership, and control) over to mankind starting with Adam.   (See 'THE BEGINNING OF MANKIND'). God never goes back on his promises.  God never changes. He has to see that you believe it. If you do not believe it, then how can He, through His Holy Spirit, which He has given to you, grant it to you.?

WE NEED TO REBUKE SATAN

There are certain things that God controls but you need to rebuke Satan/demons.  God gave His dominion  (authority, rulership, and control) over to mankind starting with Adam.  (See 'THE BEGINNING OF MANKIND').

It was Adam and Eve who gave this control over to Satan.  Mankind has been giving control to Satan/demons ever since, to where Satan now is the ruler of this planet.

John 16:13-15; But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.

15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”

OUR INTER-RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, JESUS andthe HOLY SPIRIT.

This is a very important set of verses because it explains our inter-relation with the "Spirit of truth" (Holy Spirit), Jesus and God.

The "Spirit of truth" (Holy Spirit which is from God) does not speak on his own.  He only speaks to us that which he receives from Jesus.

When Jesus says "All that belongs to the Father is mine", He is saying (in terms that His disciples will understand)  that the Father (God), and He are one (the same).
