HEALING THIS IS A NEW SECTION WE ARE ADDING WHICH WILL BE FINISHED IN 2 DAYS.  Please bear with us.

There are those who believe that healing ourselves with the help of the Holy Spirit indwelling us, disappeared with the apostles.  Let us look at the following verses to see how true this is.

And see if God's Bible, which He wrote through the persons He chose, at the times He chose, is applicable today.

Ephesians 1:18-21; I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people, 19 and His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 He exerted when He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

This is an amazing verse because it talks about "the ages to come".

If the Bible is speaking "to the ages to come", then it applies today, as well as when this verse was written, which means that we have "His incomparably great power", "His glorious inheritance" and for those of us who believe, we have the same "power and mighty strength as He exerted when He raised Christ from the dead".

The 3 verses above show that the Bible extends to us today as they state "the coming ages", "not o only in the present age but also in the one to come.", and in the Book of Revelation "and death shall be no more".  These verses and there are more, are extremely important because they show that the Bible is for us today.

It would make no sense for God to continue creation, or to write the Bible which extends itself into the future, or to have the Book of Revelation which talks about the end of this way of life and what paradise will be like in our future, and to write a Book which followed the prophecies in the Old Testament word for word, if the Bible were not meant as a Book of Instruction for us all.  (See the page "BIBLE TRUE?")

John 14:12-14;Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

This is Jesus talking.  He says very specifically that "whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing,".  This means very simply that if we believe in Jesus we can do the works He did, and "do even greater than these" (John 11:12.  If Jesus healed and removed demons then we too have that power provided we know enough to access it.

1 John 5:4-5; for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

If we believe that "Jesus is the Son of God" we can overcome the world.  Now that is a big statement!  This means we can be like Jesus and heal the sick and remove demons (John14:12-14 above).  If we can overcome the world, this also means we have the power to be successful in life.

Isaiah 54:4-5; Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.
5But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

This is a moving verse by Isaiah, whom God spoke through, who prophesied the death of Jesus word for word 800 years before.

Notice It says "by His wounds we are healed.".  It could have said 'were', but it doesn't because it ist for us today.

This means we ARE healed.  If that is the case why aren't we?  It could only be because of the limitations of our own mind.

I am practicing this which flies in the face of my reality, but I am finding it is working.  I am healing myself and others - slowly and surely.  Hard to believe.

Psalm 107:19-20; Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,  and He saved them from their distress. 20 He sent out His word and healed them; He rescued them from the grave.

Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.   OTHER VERSE AND YE SHALL DO MORE THAN ME

1 John 5:13-15; I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

Hebrews 2:14-15; Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death that is, the devil. 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

1 John 5:13-14; I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

James 4:7; Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Proverbs 18:21; The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Romans 8:11; And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

James 1:5-8; If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

Ephesians 2:8-10 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
