Hi, and welcome to quantum physics (quantum = quantity - physics = study of matter and energy)
We are going to use it as it relates to your future, and as it relates to you using the Word of God.

These are 2 of my favorite verses:
Matthew 21:22; "And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Matthew 18:19; “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven."
​
Being the scientific type, I had to ask myself why did God and Jesus say for us to speak out loud to Him/them/it:

Proverbs 16:24; Pleasant words are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
​
Matthew 24:35; Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
​
Mark 11:22-23: “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
​
Romans 10:17-18; "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the Word of Christ." But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed: “Their sound has gone out to all the earth, And their words to the ends of the world.”
​
Mark 11:24; Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Some translations say "believe that you receive - or receive them", and it means the same thing. See Greek to English

As you can see from the above, the use of words - or making sounds - is important.
​
Why would this be?
​
We know God spoke (used words/sound) to bring this world into existence:
​
John 1:1; In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
​

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,”
6 And God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.”
9 And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so.
11 And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind,
14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so.
20 And God said, “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds[g] fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens...
22 And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”
24 And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so.
26 Then God said, “Let us make man[h] in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion

You can see from the above that God spoke this world into existence.
This would mean that sound can create and affect something. But what is going on?
​
See '8 Crazy Experiments with Sound' The first experiment is with 2 tuning forks. When one strikes one tuning fork, the other tuning fork vibrates with sound, even though they are not touching. This is called 'resonance' which is something vibrating/reacting without being connected or touched. This demonstrates that there is something (sound waves) leaving one tuning fork and reaching the other tuning fork and having it vibrate:
The other experiments show and prove that waves of sound (sound waves) are leaving from a source and creating different sound/vibration effects in different things even though they are not connected or touching.

This means that there has to be something in between the various items. - in what we see as space. Because if something can transmit itself across space then there has to be something to transmit it. Again, look at the experiment of the 2 tuning forks.
You will see that when one tuning fork is hit, that the other one vibrates, even though they are not connected in any way. How does this happen? It means that the space in between them both has to have something which connects them in some way.

Space has millions of tiny particles in it and that is what makes the 2nd tuning form vibrate. It is the sound of the first tuning fork making these millions of tiny particles vibrate through sound waves that make the 2nd tuning fork vibrate. See Sound waves.

SUMMARY
​
As per Webster's definition of imagination = "The imagine-making power of the mind; the power to create or reproduce ideally an object of sense previously perceived; the power to call up mental imagines."
​
and NASA says about the atom:
Inside the atom:
Just like bricks are the building blocks of a home, atoms are the building blocks of matter.

and Nikola Tesla said:
“If you want to know the secrets of the Universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.“
– Nikola Tesla.

and Dr. Masaru Emoto and his water chrystal experiments that words, thoughts and even music affect the vibrations which create differences in our body and surrounding areas. This goes along with what Nikola Tesla said about energy, frequency and vibration.

That seems to support that our imagination expressed in words would create an energy which would affect what is around us which are atoms - billions of them. Which could bring into being, because 'atoms are the building blocks of matter, that which we have postulated (decided with God)

Carolyn Leaf speaks on controlling your mind. The mind,as we know, is part of the soul, which is mind, will, and emotion which interacts with the brain. If we control our mind, then we can conrol the body and the brain and various addictions/sicknesses, and life.

Romans 12:2; Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
​
As it says in many places in the Bible (see FAITH AND BELIEF) we can control our invironment and have what we want come to fruition - along with God. We can everything we can immagine!
