1 Peter 5:8-9; Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.
Satan's beginnings
The more we know about something, the more control we have over it. So let's look at Satan's beginnings.
We know from the Bible that he was a high-ranking angel, a cherub given the name of Lucifer (Angel of Light or light bearer) by God.
(A cherub -plural cherubim- is a protector and obeys God's many instructions).

At one point Satan, being trusted and loved, was sent to the "Holy mount of God" = Garden of Eden. He was there some time before Adam and Eve. We are not told how long before. As I have said in another place, I think it is highly likely he committed his first sin upon God by eating from the same Tree of Life that he later persuaded Adam and Eve to eat from, and that is one of the reasons he turned evil.
In any event, he rebelled and sinned against God.
He became known as Satan, (which means enemy or adversary). He is identified as the "Devil, Satan and a serpent" in Revelation 12:9.
He was cast out of the mount of God Ezekiel 28:16.

Revelation 12:7-9 Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

NOTE: LOCATION OF THE GARDEN OF EDEN:
Scholars believe this was the location of Eden as described in the Book of Genesis as the source of four tributaries. However, there is no proof as of yet.

NOTE: In Ezekiel 28:11-19 (below) God came to Ezekiel and asked him to speak to Satan who was inhabiting the King of Tyre's body, and for him (Ezeliel) to take up a lament (mourning aloud) "concerning the King of Tyre and to say to him" (Satan) "This is what the Sovereign Lord says". The King of Tyre (we presume) was unaware of Satan inside him.
Ezekiel 28:11-19; The word of the Lord came to me:
12 “Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him:
‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“ ‘You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: carnelian, chrysolite and emerald, topaz, onyx and jasper, lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl.
Your settings and mountings were made of gold;
on the day you were created they were prepared.
14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones.

until wickedness was found in you.
16 Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned.

Instead, Satan decided that he could "raise his throne above the stars of God." Isaiah 14:13
And God said "So I made fire come out of you, and it consumed you"...Ezekiel 28:18
Thanks to Satan:
See how woman became subservient to man,
See how childbirth became painful
See how the land became barren.
See how working, eating and surviving became difficult.
See how 'death' started.
Jesus, Judas, Satan
John 13:27; As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Jesus told him, "What you are about to do, do quickly."
Satan had entered into Judas Iscariot and Jesus knew it, and He also knew that Judas was about to betray Him and told him to do it quickly. Judas did exactly that. Judas later committed suicide, probably after Satan left his body, and Judas realized what he had done.
Jesus knew that He was sent here to Earth to be the Lamb of God (in other words the sacrifice. Back in those days they sacrificed a lamb for sins and then their sins would be forgiven). That is why God gave His only Son to be sacrificed for all the sins of the earth and for them to be forgiven and to take them out of the clutches of Satan who uses sins to manipulate. After the death of Jesus, we have a new start and our sins are no more. The Law of Moses is ended, and we enter the period of Grace which we have today.

Satan or his demons can enter into us and make us enemies of others, or enter into people around us and have them turn against us.
​
If we were to use our imagination, one can imagine a marriage having a hard time because one demon in one person is arguing with another demon in the spouse, both demons with the intention to destroy the marriage.

the really important thing to know is that Satan has NO power of his own. He can only use your power and your consent to rule over you.
More on demons
Matthew 9:32-33; While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus. 33 And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”

Mark 5:1-8; This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain. 4 For he had often been chained hand and foot, but he tore the chains apart and broke the irons on his feet. No one was strong enough to subdue him. 5 Night and day among the tombs and in the hills he would cry out and cut himself with stones. Luke 13:10-13; On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, 11 and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. 12 When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” 13 Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.
Demons also infect body parts and make them sick. That is why some healings are miraculous as the demon/s depart when a believer along with God or his Holy Spirit enters the picture.

Many demons also can gather together in one body. Mark 5:6-9 tells us that this man has a "legion of demons ("legion" in those days meant 3-6,000).
There are many places in the Bible where Jesus or His apostles cast out demons and brought health and sanity to the victims of Satan and his demons. There are those who do that today as well. It is no shame to have demons. Even Mary Magdeline had 7 which Jesus cast out. The important and vital thing is to spot them, their unknown control in your life, and get rid of them.

John 8:43-44; Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires.
He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth,
for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language,
for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Here, Jesus is having one of many conversations with the Pharasees (who usually want to kill Him) and He is describing how they belong to Satan and that is why they connot understand Him.

He is saying Satan is a "murderer" and the "father of lies" and that "there is no truth in him".
Crucify the flesh
This, without a doubt, has been the hardest task for me! My brain - after an abused upbringing - had a continual onslaught of messed-up messages it was sending. I had to try to ignore them just to survive. I couldn't even walk across a room, and certainly talking to people was impossible! I would stand next to a group of people who were happily and excitedly communicating wishing I could join in, but it was impossible for me. I had no idea that ignoring the brain and its many messages would be a necessary beginning forerunner in order to "crucify the flesh" to Romans 6:6 (below).
Romans 6:6; knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin;

Galatians 5:24; Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

If we crucify the flesh, then that also helps defeat Satan/demons because we are not listening to the flesh, we are only listening to our Holy Spirit and seeing our vision for our future.
This helps us to separate our mind from the thoughts of the brain/body/flesh.
Where do Satan and his network of demons live?
THE THREE HEAVENS
I personally believe Satan has a network of demons strategically placed around the world, so he is kept informed as to what is happening. He does seem to be very organized despite his limitations. He probably has control centers in various places and a hierarchy of demons in various positions of power and then other demons which wander upon the earth, in or out of us, who are under the instruction of Satan and his organization.
Ephesians 6:12; For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
This verse shows that there are 3 heavens. One heaven would be God’s (third heaven); and another (first heaven) we see when we look up to the sky. That leaves the 2nd heaven. Many authorities believe that Satan rules in the 2nd heaven.
2 Corinthians 12:2-4; I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. And I know that this man was caught up into paradise—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter.
Satan holds the people of this world captive to do his will 2 Timothy 2:26.
Satan has authority over all the kingdoms of this world Luke 4:5–7.
Satan is called the ‘ruler of this world’ in John 14:30.
Satan is even called the ‘god of this age’ in 2 Corinthians 4:4. Satan is called ‘the ruler of the kingdom of the air’ in Ephesians 2:2.

The stand we can take against Satan and his demons
Despite the above Satan is still un-powerful.
The only power he has gained is that which we give him. God gave the rulership of Earth to humans in Genesis 1:28 and they unfortunately gove it to Satan. It is only our believing Satan's lies that we can become controlled by him and by doing that, gradient-by-gradient, Satan gains more and more control.

He can only infect us with our permission usually received by lies and deceit. He has no power of his own without God's permission like with Job Job 1:8-12. He only has our power, if we give it to him.

Today Satan has to have a shortage of demons, because they have not increased in number (there is no mention in the Bible about Satan/demons having babies) and we now have 79 billion people here on earth, as opposed to 2 - Adam and Eve.

Satan (Lucifer) was an angel who "was driven in disgrace and expelled" from the Garden of Eden.

We are destined to inherit salvation - Satan is not.

Satan's end is stated in Revelation 20:10; and he is going to be thrown into the lake of fire to burn forever and forever. Is this someone to be worried about?

He is paranoid in the fact he thinks he is as wise as God and can ascend to greater heights than God. Satan. Satan wants to copy God and have people in Satan's image. Isaiah 14:14-16; "I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.”
In Ezekiel 28:14. He was sent to the Holy Mount (mountain) of God (which is on Earth and is the Garden of Eden- see Map). He became evil and wanted to ascend higher than God. Since he had no power of his own (since the power of rulership was given to Adam and Eve), his only option was to trick Adam and Eve into a forbidden act, at which point Satan started his rulership. Today, that is still his only option, to lie, cheat, steal and murder.

Ephesians 6:10-12; Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
You need the armor of God. You and the Holy Spirit can ensure it is there.

With my acceptance, the Holy Spirit washes through and out of me constantly. I flow out to others. This way Satan/demons have a hard time getting a foothold.

Sometimes it is a process
God heard Daniel right away and sent His angel, but it took 3 weeks for his angel to arrive because of the evil forces of Satan and so he was detained and was helped by the angel Michael.

Sometimes, Satan does delay. But he NEVER wins, as long as we follow God and keep His faith.
Proverbs 6:30-31; People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving.
31Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house.
Satan is a thief. We can demand he pay us back 7-fold what he has taken from us, as long as he is caught.

IT IS A RULE OF GOD. HE MUST PAY.
Satan rules to manipulate people through his demons which inflict pain, lies, and misfortune in order to bring them away from God. The picture of the 2nd heaven, is not hell, it is Satan and his demons torturing and murdering people here on earth. These people are located on Earth, but are infected by the demons of Satan, who sometimes inhabit them.
​One of the MANY operating procedures of Satan:
As we can see a woman is very happy on the beach. All is going well. This is when demons like to attack.
Demons enter body parts and make them sick. They can make the brain worry and send negative messages into your mind (the mind of YOU the human spirit which you are supposed to be renewing). See 'YOU, YOUR BRAIN, AND YOUR MIND'.

The woman above goes into worry. worry and more worry. Talking to others about it See 'YOUR TONGUE AND YOU'.
After a while, the woman goes to the doctor.
​
The woman having worried for several months/years has CREATED the cancer that she gets diagnosed with.
I know it is hard to believe, but it is all over the Bible about what you believe will occur. See 'FAITH' and 'MIRACLES ARE WITH US TODAY'.
It is not the doctor's job (though it would be nice) to show or demonstrate to you the power of your mind and the Holy Spirit. See 'HOLY SPIRIT'.
The doctor's job is to examine what you have done to your body with the power of your mind, give you an analysis and recommend a treatment with the 'human wisdom' he has acquired.
If you believe in Satan/demons as I do, and there are many Bible verses which verify their authenticity, then you will realize that Satan/demons are here to lie, cheat, steal your joy and take you away from God. That there is no truth in them and they are vile murderers. IT IS DANGEROUS TO FLIRT WITH THEM.
In addition to infecting and warping your mind, they can, and do, inhabit the body, and make it sick physically and sometimes permanently, and they can inhabit limbs, and wither them.
They are DELIGHTED when they can take a spiritual person, who God had planned great things for, such as HEALERS, down the road of sickness and drugs to ruin their awareness, tie up their time and inhabit them, until they die so they will never get to God's intended plans.
Please understand, in addition to all body parts, that one of Satan/demon's favorite places is on your back. Note that when it talks in Ephesians 6:10-17 about your armor of protection against Satan, it does not say to cover your back. That is because you are supposed to be confronting, slaying, and resisting Satan.

What is here on this page is great and if you apply these Bible verses, there is no reason that your life should not change for the better.
