I have noticed that God likes to operate through us.
​
In other words, if we cheerfully give and realize that our gifts are from God, He would like us to pass them on to others.
​
I have found that this gets me prosperity. The more I give, the more I get, because God wants to prosper others.
​
It's hard sometimes because I feel I should take care of myself first, but that is not how God works.
DO NOT STORE UP TREASURE FOR YOURSELVES ONLY
Matthew 6:19-21; “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Luke 12:19-21; And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’
20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’
21 “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

James 5:3; Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days.
GOD WILL GIVE YOU WISDOM

James 1:5-7; If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
LOVE OF MONEY
1 Timothy 6:10; For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

Hebrews 13:5; Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
​
Matthew 6:24; No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
SIMPLE MESSAGE
These wonderful words of God (on either side and below) show us all we need to know about wealth.

When I read these messages, I understood that God is a giving God and He wants us to be giving too.
​
God wants us to come to Him for wisdom because He loves us and wants to give us the teachings which will mature us and bring us to success.
​
God wants to flow through us to others in order to help them too which means we need to share our wealth.
​
God knows that it is easy to fall in love with money and all it can bring, and He warns us of this.
​
If God prospers us, He wants us to support his churches and give to others.
GOD WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS

Philippians 4:19; And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.
DO NOT WORRY
​
Matthew 6:31-34; “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

We all need to apply Mark11:24;
​
"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."
Yes, we need to "believe we have received it" which has its challenges, but I have done it - others have done it- and so can you. (See also 'FAITH & BELIEF')
HONOR GOD WITH YOUR WEALTH
Proverbs 3:9-10; Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops;
10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
Deuteronomy 8:17-18; You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.”
18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms His covenant, which He swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

Proverbs 10:22; The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it.
WALK WITH GOD

Psalm 1:1-3; Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.
DO NOT BE ARROGANT OR WITH YOUR WEALTH

1 Timothy 6:17-19; Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.
19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life
REMEMBER GOD WHEN YOU ARE WEALTHY
Deuteronomy 8:18; But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant,
which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.
RICH INHERITANCE
Proverbs 8:18-21; With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity.
19 My fruit is better than fine gold;
what I yield surpasses choice silver.
20 I walk in the way of righteousness,
along the paths of justice,
21 bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me and making their treasuries full.
BRING BLESSINGS TO OTHERS
Proverbs 11:25; A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
