Psalm103 Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Job 33:25-26; let his flesh become fresh with youth;
let him return to the days of his youthful vigor’;
26 then man prays to God, and he accepts him;
he sees his face with a shout of joy,
and he restores to man his righteousness.
It is not the beauty on the outside that is important.
Vanity means self involved. Satan is to Godself-involved. That is not who you want to emulate. His world is all about himself. He was once very beautiful, and now he is ugliness. Jealousy, envy and greed have eaten him up, not to mention all of his misdeeds.
Inner beauty will shine to the outside.
However, there is no reason to be ugly on the outside and condemned by whoever.
There are several procedures and diet to enable a person to step onto the considered 'beautiful' stage and there is nothing wrong with that at all as long as one maintains their relationship with God, upholds Him and follows his precepts.
There is nothing more beautiful to a man/woman/humanity than a person who is giving and naturally happy from within.
I love beautiful things! And they are a source of joy to me, but I am not a slave to them. If they were all to disappear, I would not be happy, but I would just move to acquire other beautiful things to surround myself with.
I like my environment to have a lot of gold in it, crafted in beautiful flowing movements. I share this beauty with others when they come over to my home, but not as "Look what I have and you do not", but as an artist loving to share and experience the joy this art piece gives others.
