Isaiah 53:5; But he was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by His wounds we are healed.

Notice the wording is in the past tense. (check out the direct Hebrew/English translation "we are healed") It does not say 'will' be. It said, "we are". If you are afflicted in any way and you have accepted Jesus as your personal savior, and you have the Holy Spirit indwelling you, you can boldly declare: “By his stripes, I am healed”! This is so because: God is a healer and promised healing to all who would take Him at His word (which means to have faith in Him).
Ephesians 3:20; Now to the One who can, according to His power that is operating in us, do more than superabundantly beyond all the things we ask or conceive,
HEALING HAS A LOT TO DO WITH OUR FAITH. See section below 'FAITH'
James 5:14-15; “Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”
After the death of Jesus James is not suggesting we go to God to get healed. He is saying that if they are still "sick" that they need to seek the help of the "elders". If they are still sick it would mean that they either did not have the Holy Spirit indwelling them, or they had failed to have enough faith to use the Holy Spirit, or maybe they were not praying correctly. However, James knowing the mind and how it can make a person sick if they have sinned does tell them that God will forgive them of their sins. But the healing of the body in this verse is not done by God.
John 14:26; But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you
Matthew 28:18-20; Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
This is talking about the Holy Spirit (Advocate) who "will teach" us "all things and will remind" us of everything Jesus has said.
Jesus taught his disciples to heal. This means we can (if we have the Holy Spirit indwelling us) heal others. If we can heal others, then we can heal ourselves. Plus we also have the Holy Spirit who "will teach" us anything we need to know.
This is Jesus talking. He is saying "surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Yes Jesus and God's Holy Spirit is with us - WITH US. Indwelling if we will have Him.
This has to mean that we have the power of healing through Him of our own bodies and that of others.
We can live by either of The Law of Grace or the Law of Moses. The Law of Grace is a lot easier and God is within us and can heal us if we choose, just as Jesus instructed His disciples. The Law of Moses requires God to heal us.
I had to realize that God loves us and wants to deliver us from our "many troubles" and that would include healing our bodies and even old age.
It shows that even if we have allowed God to indwell us, that unless we choose to use His power, that it will just rest and wait until we are more enlightened.
However, we must renew our mind, but it takes strength and perseverance and for me was very difficult. It has to be continual and I need to demand my existence as I know it should be all the time. I cannot waiver, not for a moment. It is especially tough for me because of an abused upbringing which left my brain/body/flesh with all kinds of problems that attempt to assert themselves over my mind at any given moment. See See'THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOU, THE BRAIN, and YOUR MIND' above.
2 Tim. 1:7; God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
PEOPLE WHO LOSE THEIR HEALINGS. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that everyone keeps their healings.
There is a dear friend of mine and he asks me from time to time to take the pain away from his back. I lay hands on him and the Holy Spirit heals him and his pain is gone. I had a conversation with him the other day and he said to me "But the pain always comes back. I 'know' by the time I get home I 'know' it will be back again." He 'knew' that it would come back again when he got home. And of course, it came back when he got home.
This same dear friend has serious hearing problems, but we have talked for 1/2 without me raising my voice and without him using his hearing aids. But when he talks to others, he 'knows' in order to hear that he must put in his hearing aids. And of course, when he goes out he needs his hearing aids.
In these 2 examples, his healing 'back and hearing' comes and goes. How could this be? This is a lovely person, but this verse from James applies:
Proverbs 23:7; As someone thinks within himself, so he is.
James 1:6-8 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
He prays with me as I lay hands on him, and he 'knows' that his back will be healed by the Holy Spirit and it is. But he also 'knows' that when he gets home that his back will be bad again.
This must mean that he doubted his faith, because what else could it be? You cannot doubt faith and have faith at the same time.
This means that he is healed but then doubts or lets Satan's demons have him doubt, he loses healing, which means he is double-minded and unstable as far as his healing goes.
It says so many times in the Bible
Luke 8:13; And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root; they believe for a while, and in time of testing fall away.
Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. For, “Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay; but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.
"They believe for a while, and in time of testing fall away". When anyone falls away (doubts) they lose their faith.
What can the Holy Spirit do if a person loses his faith? God is a God of choice and allows us our choice.
This is my prayer that this dear friend "not throw away" his confidence in his healing, This verse tells my friend that he is in "need of endurance". It is God's will that we all be healed. 'We are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls."
I pray regularly that my dear friend not "shrink back" and continue his sicknesses (some of which I have not mentioned) That he "have faith and preserve" his soul.
This dear friend announces several times daily how sick he is to various people. I would have to ask how would this help him? Is this a demonstration of faith? Or would this be of harm to him? The verse below would apply.
Proverbs 18: 21; The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
James 5:15; And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
It is the "prayer of faith" that will "save the one who is sick". This man, along with me, prays the "prayer of faith" and he is healed, which shows how powerful the Holy Spirit is and how in tune with the Holy Spirit he is. But the Holy Spirit cannot help if someone loses his faith and is "double-minded" and doubts his healing and changes his mind about his healing and feels he is sick again.
One would have to ask why is he like that? I do not know. I love this person as a friend and pray for his realization that God wants him well and that the Holy Spirit indwelling him will and does heal him, but he would need to continue/persevere in his faith.

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

For we walk by faith, not by sight.
Here is a link to Andrew Wommack whom I admire and whom I have listened to and applied what he said from God's word. I have been healed of hearing, eyesight and arthritis, and other more personal things. I am completely healed. My body is under my command and I spring around like a youngster, with the help of the Holy Spirit who indwells me. Here is a link to Healing University
I recommend you listen to Andrew Wommack over, and over, and over, and over, and over again (as I did) until it impinges significantly enough for you to RENEW YOUR MIND to be able to apply God's word and heal yourself.
Here is a healing story. One of the thousands.
If you believe in demons, as I do, and there are many Bible verses which verify their authenticity, then you will realize they are here to lie, cheat and steal your joy. One of the major ways they do that is to communicate directly to your brain, which will then begin to worry and send messages to you. (See 'HOW DOES SATAN OPERATE 'below). I always tell the body "Cancelled" which works effectively in removing/stopping worries and unwanted emotions. A really good authority on Demons who was world-famous is Derek Prince. I recommend you study him. and learn about demons. Here is one of many links.
